KnottingDescription: Learn how to knot with an awl and finish a necklace using either French wire or clamshells to attach a clasp. Prerequisite: Basic Stringing highly recommended for design purposes. Instructor: Kim Humphrey
Students will Learn: Students will learn how to use clamshells, bead tips or French wire for finishing, and the techniques for making secure knots close to the beads. Students will design a "floating" necklace and using Griffin knotting cord, a beading awl and tweezers, will learn to make consistent knots and how to keep them evenly spaced.
