Repairs, Design & Construction

At Bead in Hand our design advice and some help with assembling your projects is always free and always available. We are happy to show customers how to make a simple loop to make earrings and how to use a crimp bead to finish a necklace using flexible beading wire.  We’ll show you on one side, and you can do the other.

When we are helping multiple customers, we will divide our attention as fairly as we can.

Tools are available for your use in our shop at no charge.  If you’d like to use our glue, the cost for a one time use is $1.00.

If you don’t want to do it yourself, we also offer repairs and help with design and construction for reasonable fees.  Our repair/construction fee is $20 per hour, with a minimum charge of $5.  If we can finish your piece in 15 minutes or less while you wait, the cost is $5.  If we need to keep your piece for more extensive work, we will give you our best estimate on our repair fee when you bring your piece(s) to us.

Learn How

For customers who are looking for greater assistance and more advanced beading skills, we highly recommend our classes.  Class sizes are small, teachers are knowledgeable, and you will learn tips and techniques to help you with design and finishing skills in our basic classes, and specific beading techniques in our more project oriented classes.  We also carry books and magazines that have lots of projects and instructions.
