NEW! SCALLOP EDGE BEADED NECKLACE

While learning to make this pretty necklace, you will learn the tricks for knitting with beads: stringing, casting on, slipping the beads between your stitches, and the “wrap and turn” technique for short rows.  Some students may finish the necklace in class, others may need to do the final finishing at home, but will leave with all the knowledge to do so.  Prerequisite: Must know how to cast on and knit garter stitch. The necklace is designed with the backwards loop method of casting on, often taught as “thumb cast on.” The “Index finger cast on” will be taught.  Instructor: Carol Metzger

One session, $30 (Materials extra, 10% off – knitting needles need to be purchased elsewhere, teacher will have an assortment of yarns to purchase – please bring cash or check to pay teacher.)
